Gifts 635 - 656

We are happiest when we are not focused on ourselves...that is a good reason to count gifts. It turns our thoughts to the great Giver of all good things.

- the smell of grape gum
- interesting shadows on the wall
- working together
- seeing things accomplished
- trying a new recipe
- having it taste good :)
- hide and seek in the dark
- the exuberance of children
- challenging new thoughts
- needed time to talk
- the power of prayer
- how blessing others blesses you
- walks with a friend
- little hands helping
- leftovers
- organizing things
- people who spy for you
- God providing things you needed/wanted
- trying new foods
- beautiful stacks of cupcakes
- a sweet 11 year old

Hannah turned 11 last week...

opening gifts at my parent's house

her favorite gift of the year - a set of Nancy Drew books
