Bibles Unbound is a neat organization that sends Bibles to specific people in closed countries. You can send the bibles two ways - one, they will send you the bibles and you will pack and ship them from your home - two, they will pack and send the bibles themselves. We did the ship your own to see what it was like the first time around, but since then, have just had them ship on their own. It was neat to see the names of Chinese people that would, Lord willing, be receiving the bibles we were packaging.
Support for this is set up to be monthly although you can stop at any time. The cost is $6 per bible whichever way you do it. You can also keep updated on the status of your particular project. The great thing is that this focuses specifically on getting God's Word into people's hands and we know that therein lies power to changes lives. If you're really on top of it, you can also pray specifically for the names of the people your bibles are going to. This organization is a ministry of Voice of the Martyrs.
