Home Depot Day

One activity that we have really enjoyed as a family is Home Depot Day. On the first Saturday of each month, Home Depot hosts a free kids workshop where kids build something out of prepared materials. As far as I know, all Home Depots offer this. Our kids have built everything from napkin holders to race cars, art caddies to herb planters. Today they had a choice (which doesn't normally happen), and Hannah chose the butterfly house and Josh chose the soccer game. We also make a extra fun day of it by stopping for donuts on our way there! Yum!
