It would have been nice of me to mention this earlier in the holiday season...it is one of our favorites and enjoyed year after year. The Look-Alikes series is an amazing group of books that take ordinary objects and transform them into believable pictures. You can look at the pictures time after time and still see new things. The kiddos sometimes have a hard time recognizing what certain objects are, but they pick out lots of things in each one. It's a great coffee table book to just spend a few minutes on whenever you get some time. Also, great for taking on a trip for a longer-term quiet activity. The Christmas one is probably our favorite, and for a great price on Amazon right now...
