Well, with some extra time today, I finished up the first of the Knights of Arrethtrae series also by Chuck Black. It was a good, quick, action-filled read. It had some connectedness to the Kingdom Series, but you could easily read them separately. His purpose in this series is to teach about virtues and vices as conveyed in God's Word. I would say it was a more exciting read than the other series and this particular book would probably appeal more to boys than girls although there is a very tame love story mingled a bit throughout. The book has a good, wholesome message and is easy to recommend as long as the reader is alright with battles between good and evil.
