Practical Religion
This book is probably one of my top three favorites...it is a beast, but has a great amount of helpful and practical information in it. Ryle is one of my favorite authors as he is so strong biblically, but also so easy to read and understand. We read it first for devotions when I was growing up, probably high school or so. I've read it again a time (or two?) since then as it sheds light on so many aspects of a Christian's daily life: self-inquiry, reality, prayer, bible reading, communion, charity, freedom, happiness, the world, sickness, our home, etc. Very much a book worth reading, rich with usefulness and challenge to Christ-like living.
