The Secret of the Fourth Candle

We finished this book up today...it was kind of our lunch/snack time reading book. It includes three seperate short stories of poor children in other countries who learn about what it means to be like Christ and know Him. In many ways it was a sad book because it tells about the very stark realities of poverty; something my kiddos don't know anything about. But, there was such a redeeming nature in it about how they found Christ in their lack, and how He was precious to them. It was a well-written book and one you want to keep reading to see how the story will wrap up.
